April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and Pathways to Hope for Children is joining with community partners in raising awareness of this issue in Shasta County. At this First 5 Institute Smart Lunch learn about Pathways to Hope for Children’s efforts in preventing and eliminating child abuse and neglect in our community and how you can help.Pathways to Hope for Children is a non-profit organization that serves as an umbrella for a wide range of projects throughout Shasta County that provides community outreach, youth development, family support, and child abuse prevention education and awareness activities.A Zoom Meeting link will be sent to you directly by email after you register for this Smart Lunch.Professionals and Providers serving young children and their families – feed your belly & feed your brain! The 0-to-5 Smart Lunch features experts and speakers, some local, some from afar, addressing a variety of early childhood topics and concerns. Lunch is provided – come learn, have lunch and network! 30 spots are available for each 0-to-5 Smart Lunch. Register early to hold a spot.
