PATHWAYS PARENT PARTNER
Pathway Parent Partners are paraprofessionals trained to work with families whose children are enrolled in preschool. Parent Partners provide case management, host family nights at preschools, and provide evidence-based parenting education. Parent Partners make responsive referrals to essential and specific services. Children and families are identified through assessments, self-referrals, and preschool attendance records.
Community Parent Partner
Community Parent Partners work within the county's child welfare services differential response system. Parent Partners are connected to families who have been referred to Children and Family Services and do not have open cases. Parent Partners utilize evidence-based programs including Triple P and Safe Care to provide case management and deliver parenting education.
FAMILY RESOURCE PARENT PARTNER
Family Resource Parent Partners are available for home visiting and walk-in services for any family in Shasta County. Parent Partners help families identify and connect to needed resources such as affordable housing, food, clothing and parenting education. The Family Resource Center provide parents with necessities such as, access to office equipment, clothing closet and diapers.
